THE MISSION:
This November, our small but determined crew will come together for an adventure never documented and quite possibly never conquered before. On the night of Tuesday November 7, we will embark on a self-supported run from Toronto to Montreal and plan to arrive early morning on Friday November 10 at the lookout atop Mount Royal. We are doing this for the challenge and the fun of course! We also want to support 3 charities that mean a great deal to us: Kensington Health, Start2Finish and Good Foot Delivery (more info on these charities below).

THE TEAM:
Darren Weldrick, Nyki Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Don Campbell, Sarah Vandonk, Becky Gerretsen, Gord Davison, Carolyn Hicks, Maria Pesce and Lyndsay Nugent. 

With intense training and an equal amount of determination these brave runners will prove that anyone can achieve goals they previously thought to be unattainable. 

THE FUNDRAISER: 
On WEDNESDAY October 11, from 7-11pm at The Hideout Toronto, please join us to fundraise for our charities and celebrate our commitment to this 660km endeavor. We will be in the midst of the toughest part of training, a peak week, as it gets darker with still a month to go. It will be an exciting and challenging time and we look forward to this opportunity to bring running communities together. We would love your company and support when team spirits will need a boost!
Come for live music from Shawn Brady (a 2:27 marathoner himself), Don Campbell (a #runtomtl team member) and Jeff Eager as well as a silent auction, beer, food and the usual Hideout excitement. 

Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased directly from any of us, online at the link below or at the door October 11. 
Proceeds from funds raised will be donated equally to our three charities. 

THE CHARITIES:
Kensington Health is a special place to us as our teammate and friend Colin Buchanan spent his final days there last September. President and CEO of Kensington Health, John Yip, is a RUNWAY member and will be joining us October 11.

Start2Finish helps kids in need learn to read, and to run. We hope our efforts will help our teammate, Paul Huyer, a Start2Finish leader, to provide these kids with shoes from Saucony! Paul will also be joining us October 11.

Good Foot Delivery is a foot courier service that provides job opportunities to people with disabilities. Mike Anderson, co-owner of BlackToe Running, is a dedicated supporter of Good Foot Delivery and will also be joining us October 11.
